Crane influenced office blocks

Rheinauhafen harbour is the location of some interesting new office blocks. Three distinctive high rise buildings have been constructed and have been named Kranhäuser, meaning crane houses, due to the distinctive design. The shape is in keeping with the docklands location which enables them to fit with the heritage of their surroundings. It is definitely an interesting way to fit the commercial buildings, with the industrial backdrop. At night, the lighting transforms the buildings into a striking feature on the landscape.
